African Sweet Potato-Peanut Stew

Ingredients
Garlic, 3 clove (remove)Crushed Tomatoes, 794 grams (remove)Peanut Butter, smooth style, with salt, .5 cup (remove)*Cumin (ground), 2 tsp (remove)Cinnamon, ground, .5 tsp (remove)Pepper, red or cayenne, .25 tsp (remove)Salt, .75 tsp (remove)Water, tap, 1 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)Sweet potato, 6 sweetpotato, 5" long (remove)Chickpeas (garbanzo beans), 850 grams (remove)
Directions
In blender blend garlic, tomatoes, peanut butter, cumin, cinnamon, ground red pepper, and salt.
Peel and cube sweet potatoes. Add sweet potatoes, drained garbanzo beans and peanut mixture into crock pot. Cover and cook for up to 8 hours. Half the time should be high heat, half low heat.

Serving Size: Makes about 6 servings.
