Tasty. I used splenda and 1/2 cal orange juice with a total of 21 calories which is even better for me! Thanks for the recipe! - 1/18/09

This drink is great!! I usually leave out the sugar, and it really does help with nausea! I added a little bit of grated ginger and this got me through morning sickness!! Thank you!!! - 3/22/09

A FUN drink!! I used sparkling water though to cut the sodium content & the calories. - 1/12/09

nice refreshing drink, but to make it lower in carbs I left out sugar, didn't really need it and more diet friendly. - 1/12/09

I don't understand why all the fuss about 16 calories of sugar. If you're diabetic, then of course use sugar substitutes but if not, I think I can "splurge" on 16 calories. So I'll do 5 extra minutes of walking. Somethings are just worht it!! LOL - 3/3/10

I just tried this and it was wonderful!! Great early morning pick me up after walking. I used a pinch of splenda instead of the sugar. I will make it again. - 1/12/09

My family and I loved this. We tried it with fresh-squeezed oranges, and it was superb. - 6/8/09

I made this but substituted an artificial sweetener in place of the sugar, as I am diabetic and watch my carbohydrate intake. It was wonderful. - 1/13/09

I made this and loved it! My guy has really bad acid reflux and he was fine after having some...granted, he couldn't drink more than one or two servings, but he was fine after one. - 8/19/08

Instead of sweetener, sugar, or club soda I just used the Sprite Zero I had on hand. Yummy and a great way to liven up fruit juice! Thanks for the recipe! - 1/26/10

i have been making this one since joining Spark. I love it as a pick-me-up after a great workout. Sugar in moderation is OK. So i never worry about that ingredient. My pant sizes are steady dropping so it obviously is not hurting me. - 8/19/08

I liked it because it used real sugar...I'm not a big advocate of fake sweetners...all natural here! I liked the fizz! - 8/19/08

I can see the club (bicarbonate) soda and ice helping heartburn or reflux but citrus juice is one of the first things you're told NOT to eat with reflux. Can you substitute apple or another non-citrus fruit? - 9/14/08

This is a good drink to have at a cocktail party to not feel deprived. The quantity is too little for thirst refreshment. - 1/12/09

Sounds great! I am always looking for anything with Fizz thats not cola. Thanks for the idea!! This is definately going in my recipe book! :O) - 1/12/09

This sounds tasty. I agree if you get sweet oranges you may not need the sugar. I'd probably omit it anyway, just because I like the taste of my fruit to come through. And I don't think a little sugar will hurt you now and then, just not lots all the time. - 8/19/08

very good for a different taste i saw some of you have a fit over the teaspoon of sugar and the acid. i have reflux but i drink no pulp or low acid ornge juice so you can make with any oj that u want too, far as the sugar we all deserve something fun and good ever so often - 8/19/08

I just love this! I use tangerines instead of oranges and I like it a bit sour. Very refreshing! - 1/13/09
