Hershey Kiss Peanut Butter Blossoms

30 Hershey Kisses3/4 cup all-purpose flour (replace with brown rice flour for gluten-free)1/4 cup shortening6 Tbsps peanut butter2 1/2 Tbsps granulated sugar2 1/2 Tbsps light brown sugar1 1/2 Tbsps egg beaters1 Tbsp skim milk1/2 tsp vanilla extract1/2 tsp baking soda1/4 tsp salt
Preheat oven to 375.
Beat together shortening and peanut butter.
Add sugars and beat until fluffy.
Add egg, milk, and vanilla, beat well.
Stir together flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually beat into peanut butter mixture.
Shape into 1-inch balls of dough.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet, at least 1" apart.
Bake 8-10 minutes, until lightly browned.
Immediately press Hershey Kiss in the center.
Cool completely on wire racks.
Serving Size: Makes 30 cookies; serving size = 1 cookie
