Spiced Hazelnuts

Ingredients
2 Cups Hazelnuts or Walnuts1 Cup Sugar5 Tbsp Water1 Tbsp Cinnamon1 tsp VanillaFew grains Salt
Directions
Combine sugar, water, cinnamon, and salt. Bring to a boil and boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat, add hazelnuts and vanilla. Stir until syrup looks cloudy. Place on waxed paper or greased platter. Allow to cool, then break apart into individual nuts or clusters.
