Easy Baked Apples

Canola spray2 medium Red Delicious apples2 teaspoons raisins2 tablespoons maple syrup1 teaspoon ground cinnamon1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Preheat oven to 375 degrees (F). Lightly coat a small casserole dish with canola spray.
Wash and core apples, being careful not to puncture the bottoms. Rinse the inside of the apple to assure all seeds are removed.
Sppon 1 teaspoon of raisins into each apple. Mix maple syup, cinnamon and nutmeg to blend spices. Pour half of the mixture over the raisins in each apple.
Bake at 375 for 20 to 30 minutes. Apples are done when the skin remains firm, but the flesh can be easily pierced with a fork. Serve warm.
Makes 2 servings, 1 baked apple per serving.
