Glazed Pork Roast with Pineapples

1 pork shoulder roast, about 3.5 lbs.1/8 cup packed light brown sugar1/4 tsp. ground cloves1/8 tsp. ground apple pie spice1 tbsp. apple juice5 pineapple slices
To make glaze:
In small microwave safe dish, combine brown sugar, cloves, apple pie spice and apple juice. Microwave on high for 90 seconds.
Place roast in pan and brush evenly with glaze. Lay pineapple slices on the roast, securing into place with toothpicks.
Roast in a 350 degree oven for 25 - 30 minutes per pound, about an hour and 40 minutes.
