Butter, salted, 2 cup (remove)Instant, Quick, and Regular Oats Cereal, 5 cup, dry, yields (remove)Brown Sugar, 2 cup, packed (remove)Granulated Sugar, 2 cup (remove)Egg, fresh, 4 large (remove)Vanilla Extract, 2 tsp (remove)*Flour, white, 4 cup (remove)Salt, 1 tsp (remove)Baking Powder, 2 tsp (remove)Baking Soda, 2 tsp (remove)Milk Chocolate Candy, 3 cup chips (remove)*Hershey's Milk Chocolate Candy Bar (1.55 oz), 5 serving (remove)Walnuts, 1.5 cup, chopped (remove)Pecans, 1.5 cup, chopped (remove)
Place oatmeal in blender and blend into a fine powder. Cream butter, brown sugar, sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Add chocolate chips, grated Hershey Bar and nuts. Roll into balls and place 2" apart on cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 min, Makes 112 cookies.

These are awesome - have made them for years. The dough is easily frozen - just shape the cookies on sheets (can be close together) then place sheets in freezer for 20 minutes. Remove from freezer and place in zip lock bags and place back in freezer. Now you can bake just a few at a time. - 3/25/08
