Glorified Rice

Ingredients
2 C. of cooked brown rice1 Can Dole pineapple tidbits or crushed in juice1 Can of Mandarin oranges in juice10 marachino cherries, chopped2 cups of cool whip free1/2 cup of reduced fat sour cream1 tsp vanilla
Directions
Cook the rice as usual, but use the juice from the pineapple and oranges along with the water. When cool, mix all ingredients together. Refridgerate for at least two hours.

Makes 4 servings.

    I made this without the cool whip. I used 1½ c sour cream instead. It was fab! Changed the sweetness to PERFECT! - 11/5/20
