Ma Rohan's Sloppy Joe Sandwiches

2 lbs extra lean ground beef 93-95% lean1/2 C chopped onion1/2 C chopped celery1 C chopped green bell peppers 1/2 C water10 1/2 oz can tomato soup2 teaspoons dry mustard2 teaspoons vinegar1 tablespoon brown sugar2 teaspoons salt1 1/2 cups ketchup (no salt added)
Simmer beef, onion, celery, green pepper and water together until meat is gray and veggies are softened.
Drain
Place ketchup, tomato soup, dry mustard, vinegar, brown sugar and salt in a large kettle.
Add meat mixture and simmer for 40 minutes, stirring often to prevent sticking.
To serve place 2 Tbls on a hamburger bun. Freezes well.
