MEATBALLS1 lb extra lean ground turkey2 T ground flax (optional)1 c old fashioned, gluten free oatmeal1 big squeeze garlic paste from tube1 big squeeze Italian seasonings from tube(or season to your liking)2 eggsSOUP1 head of cabbage1 box (32 oz) beef broth2 C. Water1 jar prepared Spaghetti sauce (or use your own) I look for 6 gm or less of sugar on these jars
mush the meatball ingredients together or use your food processor. Roll into 1" or 2" meatballs and brown on at least three sides at medium heat in a frying pan. Shred the head of cabbage and add to the broth and water. Add meatballs and bring all to a boil. Then simmer until cabbage is tender. Add spaghetti sauce and heat through. Serve in bowls. Even better the next day!
