Core cabbage, slice thinly. Melt butter at medium heat in 12-inch skillet, and add cabbage when melted, tossing in the skillet to coat. Cook, turning often, until it begins to brown, about 5 minutes. Add salt and caraway seeds, cover, reduce heat to low, and cook for 15 minutes more or until desired softness.
