Tomato Cabbage Curry Soup

Ingredients
Cabbage, fresh, 1 head, large (about 7" dia)Onions, raw, 1.5 cup, choppedCarrots, raw, 1 cup, choppedCanned tomatoes, 28 oz can Vegetable Broth, 4 cup (I make my own, no fat added)Garlic, 3 tspGaram marsala powder, 3 tbspSalt & pepper to taste (I added some hot curry for extra kick)
Directions
cook onions, carrots with some tomato juice from the can, until tender. add garlic, tomatoes, curry, salt and pepper, cook 5-8 minutes. add broth. bring to a boil. add cabbage. bring to boil. reduce, simmer covered for 20 minutes. add salt and pepper to taste.
