Marinara Spaghetti Sauce Ketogenic

Ingredients
• 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil• 3 cloves of garlic, minced• 2 (28 oz) cans of crushed tomatoes (each can is 800 grams)• 11/2 cup water• 2 teaspoons dried basil• 2 teaspoons dried oregano (or 10 drops of Oregano Oil that is 50% pure)• 2 teaspoons dried parsley• 2 teaspoons salt• pepper to taste• hot pepper sauce (optional)• Top with fresh chopped basil and grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Directions
Heat the oil in a large pot. Saute the garlic.
Add all the other ingredients to the pot and bring to a boil.
Once at a boil, cover and reduce heat. Simmer for 25-30 minutes.
Puree the sauce with a blender or immersion wand
Add toppings and serve over your favorite pasta or use in any recipe that calls for pasta sauce. Can add a can of mushrooms (drained) if you like mushrooms in the pasta sauce. You can also add 1/2 lb ground beef for a meat sauce (or broken up pieces of left over meatloaf or meatballs).
