Grilled Blue Cheese Pears

4 pears, halved and cored1 tsp olive oil1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese1 tablespoon room temperature unsalted butter
1. Pre-heat the grill to medium heat
2. Brush both halves of the pears with olive oil and place them skin-side down on the grill
3. In a small bowl, stir together the blue cheese and butter
4. Scoop an even amount of the cheese and butter mixture into the center of each pear half
5. Grill pears until soft and charred, about 10-15 minutes
Serving Size: Makes 8 servings

I like that this suggests options for other cheeses than blue cheese. I can't get it past my nose! My husband loves it, though. I think you would actually need to start grilling with the cut side down, then flip over to add the cheese mixture - the only way to get the grill marks on the cut side! - 8/4/20
