Cheeseburger Salad

Ingredients
2 cups butter lettuce4 oz lean ground beefGarlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste1/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese1 chopped green onion2 slices of raw onion5 cherry tomatoes1/4 cup chopped dill pickle chips1.5 tbsp Wishbone Thousand Island dressing
Directions
Burger Balls:
Mix raw ground beef with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Using clean hands, roll the meat into "meatballs" that are about 1/4 inch thick. Try to make them small bite-size. If they are too large, they won't cook right.

In a non-stick saucepan on medium heat, cook the burger balls in batches. Carefully brown all sides of the burger balls to give the char-grilled outside flavor. Make sure the inside is cooked thoroughly. Set cooked burger balls to the side on a clean plate.

Salad Prep:
Add chopped lettuce, chopped onion, sliced tomato, chopped pickles, and salad dressing to a large bowl. Mix well.

On a small plate, place 4 oz of cooked burger balls and sprinkle 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top of the meat. Microwave until cheese is melted (~1 min on High).

Top your salad with the warm cheeseburger balls. Sprinkle chopped green onion on top.
