1 pound beef1 medium onion, diced1 cup white rice, uncooked,2.25 cups water2 cups salsa1 can black beans1 tsp ground cumin1 tsp garlic powdersalt and pepper to taste
Brown beef and onions, drain fat. Add the remaining ingredients, bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and cook covered for 50 minutes.
