Tbsp. plain flour, Tbsp. bacon grease, 1 cup skim milk, salt & pepper to taste.
Brown flour in hot bacon grease. Add salt & pepper. Add milk very slowly & keep stirring, until you've added all the milk. **** Do Not add all the milk at once or it will not thicken. It has to be added a small bit at a time, while being stirred.
