Turkey lasagna

Ingredients
1 lb lasagna noodles (instant)1.33 lbs ground turkey1 16oz jar spaghetti sauce4 Tbsp olive oil1 medium chopped onion16 oz mozzarella cheese1 Tbsp Oregano1 Tbsp Black pepper1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
Directions
1. Preheat oven 350 degrees
2. Brown Ground Turkey in oil on skillet
3. Add Pasta sauce, onion and spices to ground turkey
4. In separate pan, bring 5 pints of water to a boil
5. Cook lasagna noodles following package instructions
6. Take some meat sauce from turkey skillet and lightly cover bottom of large lasagna baking pan.
7. Put one layer of finished noodles down completely covering bottom of pan
8. Add a layer of meat over noodles
9. Add a layer of mozzarella over meat.
10. Continue layers until out of ingredients (usually 3 layers)
11. Bake for approximately 45 minutes or until cheese nicely melted.

    I made this but also added to my layers 1 cup of lowfat cottage cheese, 2 Egglands Best eggs, 1 cup of parmesan cheese and I used Turkey Sausage. I also used the Barilla no boil lasagna noodles. - 3/16/08
