SHRIMP FRA DIAVOLO

3/4 lb. of bay scallops & shrimp1/4T olive oil2 tsp. red pepper flakes1 small onion, chopped2 cloves garlic, minced1/4 tsp.dried oregano or thyme, basil1 can crushed tomatoes, (28oz.)1 cup white wine8 oz. spaghetti2 T flat parsley, chopped
Season seafood with salt & pepper. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the seafood & cook for 1 to 2 minutes until firm. Remove from heat and place on plate.
Add the pepper flakes, onions, garlic and spices to the pan. Cook till onions are soft. Add the tomatoes & wine & simmer for 15 minutes.
Mean while cook the spaghetti, drain & return to pot, season with salt & pepper. Fold in seafood and sprinkle the parsley.
Serving Size: makes 4 servings
