Beer ‘n Brats in a Slow Cooker

2 medium yellow or white onions, thinly sliced 12 Johnsonville® Original Brats or any flavored brat3 (11.2 ounce) cans lager beer
1. Layer onions and brats in the slow cooker.
2. Pour the beer over the onions and brats.
3. Cover and cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 6 to 8 hours
4. Remove the brats from the slow cooker.
5. Strain the onions and dispose of the beer.
6. Lightly brown brats on outdoor grill...this probably will take about 10 to 15 minutes.
7. When ready to serve, place brat on a bun with mustard and some of the onions, if desired.
