Cream Cheese Strawberry Shortcake

Ingredients
1 box Betty Crocker pound cake4 egg whites3/4 cup water1 8 oz cool whip free1 8 oz fat free cream cheese1 cup powder sugar2 pints of strawberries
Directions
Make the pound cake with water and egg whites. Separate into 2 9" cake pans. Let cool completely before frosting.

Dice most of the strawberry and slice some to decorate the top of cake.

To make the frosting blend the cream cheese until its softened. Add powder sugar and a little water to make the cream cheese firm. Then fold in the whipped cream. You can also use the mixer but on low. Once combined but a 3rd of the frosting on top of the first layer of cake. I like to put down strips of wax paper on the cake plate to keep the frosting off the plate. Then put a layer of diced strawberries. On top of that put the 2nd layer and frost the whole cake. Decorate the cake with the remaining strawberries.
