Spanish rice

Ingredients
2 cups rice (uncooked)1/4 cup canola oil2Tbsp tomato paste1/2tsp garlic powder1/4tsp black pepper4 cups water
Directions
Saute the rice in the oil

Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil

Cover and simmer for 5 min

Stir rice then cover, turn heat to low, and let simmer for 10 more min without lifting the lid

Serving Size: makes 8 1/2 cup servings
