Bacon Turkey Navy Beans

Ingredients
3 cups white navy beans dry rinsed10 cups water1 yellow onion chopped3 cloves garlic minced2 slices smoked bacon1 smoked turkey drumstick1 cup rutabega cubed1 cup sliced or baby carrots1/4 tsp whole black pepper1 tsp salt1 tsp marjoram2 Tbls mustard3 small chilli peppers or cayenne pepper
Directions
Rinse and soak navy beans overnight.
Saute onion, olive oil, garlic, and bacon.
Add beans, turkey, rutabega, carrots and water.
Bring to boil and reduce heat to simmer.
Simmer for 4 hours or use slow cooker.
Remove Turkey leg. Debone it and chop the meat.
Return turkey meat to pot.
Add Salt, whole pepper, white pepper, marjoram, mustard and cayenne pepper to taste.
