Baked LIma Beans

Ingredients
1.5 cups dry Lima beans-1/2 a pound (3 cups cooked)1 medium onion, diced1/2 cup ketchup1/3 cup brown sugar1/4 cup molasses
Directions
Wash uncooked Lima beans, put in a pot with plenty of water and let soak overnight or 6-8 hours. When soaked, drain, cover with fresh water 2-3 inches above the level of the beans and simmer 1.5 to 2 hours until tender. Drain, reserving liquid. Saute diced onions in oil. Combine sauteed onion, ketchup, brown sugar, molasses, and cooked beans in a casserole dish. Bake, uncovered, 1 hour at 300 degrees. If it gets too dry, add some of reserved liquid or cover.
