Yankee Pot Roast

Ingredients
2 lbs. chuck roast 1 sm. jar horseradish5 standard size carrots (coins or sticks)5 medium size potatoes (cubed)2 medium sized onions3-4 cups of water1/2 cup flour2 tbsp. butter1 tsp. salt1 tsp. pepper
Directions
Tenderize meat and rub with flour, salt and pepper mixture. Melt butter in an electric frying pan (med heat), and brown meat for 15 mins on each side. Apply horseradish to browned meat, turn over and repeat. Add water and vegetables, reduce heat and simmer for 3-4 hours. Stir as needed.
