Slow Cooker Duck A L'Orange

Whole Duck, 6 servings (listed on here 1/2 duck is 3 servings) this is approximently a 5lb roasting duck.Orange juice, not from concentrate 8 oz Navel Orange - medium/ large orange piecesApple, Gala or fiji cut in half seeds removed1/2 cup onion choppedKosher Salt, 1 tspPepper, black, 1 tsp
Rub duck down with salt and pepper first.
Place chopped veggie/fruit in crockpot place duck on top and pour juice over it. Turn crockpot on low and let cook for 7-8 hours. 30 minutes before eating remove lid and turn up heat to reduce sauce in slow cooker.
If you want to use sauce on duck or some rice on the side, just strain out the cooked fruit bits.
Serving Size: 6 servings off the bone with skin removed
