Ingredients
Turnip Greens, 2 cup, choppedMustard greens, fresh, 2 cup, chopped (remove)Spinach,fresh,14 cup (remove)Onions, raw, 2 cup, chopped (remove)Couscous (dry), 0.33 cup (remove)Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 3 tbsp (remove)Swanson Chicken Broth 99% Fat Free, 4 cup (remove)Kale - Glory chopped kale, fresh, 2 cup (remove)Water, tap, 3 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)Salt, 1 tsp (remove)Hot sauce, 1 tsp. May use cayenne pepperAdd an Ingredient
Directions
Remove all center ribs from the greens. Chop into small pieces. Boil the couscous in water until done. Wash the greens and place in a large stock pot with the chicken (or veggie broth), water and salt. Bring to a boil and turn down and simmer. Chop the onions and sauté until they start to change color. Turn down and simmer for 25 minutes. Add the onions and couscous to the greens and simmer for several hours. Use an emersion blender and puree the soup. Add hot sauce to taste.
