2 cups peeled, diced apples mix into one cup half brown sugar. half brown sugar splendaMix the two together and let stand until the sugar dissolved.After sugar is dissolved , add 1 egg to the mixture.Sift together :1/2 cup cracked wheat flour1 /2 cup regular whole wheat flour1 1/2 t. cinnamon1 t. sodaStir the dry ingredients into the apple mixture. Add :1/2 cup slivered almonds1/2 cup raisinsMix well.Conventional oven: Spray 8 x 8 inch pan with butter flavored spray nonstick oil. Pour batter into the pan and bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes.Microwave oven Pour into an 8 inch square dish and cook on High for 4 minutes or until done.
