Vegetable cooking spray3/4 cup finely chopped onion3 1/2 cups low-sodium chicken broth, undiluted1 1/2 Tbs. dry sherry1 12 Tbs. low-sodium soy sauce1 1/2 tsp. dark sesame oil34 tsp hot sauce1 3/4 cups long grain rice, uncooked3/4 cup sliced green onions
Coat a large saucepan with cooking spray; place over medium-high heat until hot. Add onion; saute until tender. Stir in broth and next 4 ingredients; bring to a boil. Remove from heat, and stir n rice. Cover, reduce heat,and simmer 35 to 45 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat, and stir in scallions.
