Ingredients
Directions
1 28 oz can Crushed tomatoes1 15 oz can tomato sauce1 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes2 15.5 oz can kidney beans (light or dark)1.5lbs lean ground turkey (I used Jennie-O)sliced, diced or chopped peppers and onionsChili powder to tastesaltpepperany other spices you like in your chili
Add all ingredients except meat to a large pot. Add seasoning to your liking, don't forget the chili powder! I also used garlic powder, salt, pepper and oregano.
Heat all the ingredients together for about 20 min on medium low heat.
Now you will brown the ground turkey in a separate pan and remove excess juices.
Now add the meat to the sauce mix and let simmer on low heat about 30-45 min to get the flavors all nice and mixed in.
Serve with a tiny bit of fiesta cheese and a tsp of light sour cream for a nice Mexican flavor!
Serving Size: fills a 5 qt pot. Should yield about 20 servings
