Ingredients
3 tsp margarine0.3 cup apple sauce0.25 cup molasses1 large egg1 cup milk1 cup whole wheat flour1.5 tsp baking powder0.5 tsp baking soda0.75 tsp salt1.5 cups wheat bran0.5 raisins
Directions
cream margarine, apple sauce, and sugar together well. Add milk, and then bran. Combine flour,baking powder, soda and salt together. Add to liquid ingredients. Add raisins, if desired. Place in greased muffin pans. Bake in 400 F oven for 18 to 20 minutes. Makes one dozen large muffins.
