Snazzy Shepherd's Pie

Ingredients
0.8 kg Lean Ground Beef2 large yams or sweet potatoesShepherd's Pie seasoning mix1 c. frozen corn1/2 large onion1/4 c. chicken broth
Directions
Preheat oven to 350F.
Peel and slice the yams into cubes. Boil in water until soft.
Dice up half the onion and sautee until just starting to brown. Add in the lean ground beef and cook until browned.
Once browned, add the seasoning mix. Simmer according to mix directions.
Strain water off of yams. Add chicken broth, and mash until smooth. Add salt/cinnamon to taste (optional).
In a large corningware dish, mix the frozen corn and the ground beef. Pat down until flat on top, then layer mash yams over beef mix. Put in the oven and cook for 15-20.
Serve hot!
