Barley, pearled, raw, 1 cup (remove)Carrots, raw, 1 cup, chopped (remove)Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped (remove)Green Peppers (bell peppers), 0.5 cup, chopped (remove)Garlic, 2 tsp (remove)Chicken Broth, 14 fl oz (remove)Water, tap, 1.5 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)Chicken Breast, no skin, 1 breast, bone and skin removed (remove)extra virgen olive oil 1.5 T
Sweat veggies. Heat broth and water. Combine veggies, broth, water and barley in casserole. Cover tightly with foil and place in 350 degree oven for 40 minutes. Remove from oven add chicken and return to oven and bake for 30 minutes.
