Banana Bread

60g Butter3 small/2 large bananas1 egg0.5 cup brown sugar2 cups w/meal flour0.5 tspn salt0.25 cups plain yoghurt1 tspn baking powder30g chopped walnuts
Cream butter and beat in sugar gradually until the mixture if light and fluffy.
Mash bananas and combine with egg, add gradually to the creamed butter mixture, beating thoroughly.
Sift flour with salt and baking powder and add alternately with the yoghurt.
Pour into a greased loaf tin, sprinkle with walnuts and bake for 1 hour at 170oC.
Makes 12, 2cm slices.
