Cheesy deep fried corn fritters

Ingredients
1.5 cups white flour3 tsp baking powder.5 tsp salt.5 cup shredded cheddar cheese.5 cup frozen corn2 lg. eggs.5 cup 1% milkcanola oil for deep frying
Directions
Start deep fryer. Thaw corn. Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese and thawed corn (can use canned). In small bowl, mix eggs and milk, then add to flour mixture. Lower carefully by heaping teaspoonfuls into hot oil. Fry until light brown, turning once during cooking. Use tongs to remove from hot oil and drain very thoroughly on paper towels. Enjoy with lemon juice and salt, or a bit of green chili tabasco with a dab of sour cream.
