Ingredients
1 head of cabbage chopped in quarters2 potato chopped5 medium carrots chopped1 medium onion quartered 2 medium or small zucchini squash1 whole lime not peeled quartered4 lean turkey Italian sausage cut into small pieces
Directions
if you have a crock pot pull it out fill the pot with 8 cups of water, chop vegetables and potatoes add the dill garlic and seasoning to your preference, I love using the lime it adds a wonderful compliment to the sausage you just quarter it and then throw it in with the rest of the vegetables, after about 5 hours of the vegetable on simmer or low, peel the casing off the sausage and cut each link in to 4 pieces each then add the sausage to your vegetables let simmer for another 5 to 6 hours and serve hot.
