Directions
Throw everything but the dumplings into a 6 qt. crockpot. Cook for 5-6 hours on HIGH. Pull out chicken breasts and debone chicken meat when it cools enough to handle. With your fingers or a knife, shred or chop the chicken meat into soup-pertinent size. Keep your crockpot on HIGH. Take the package of Anne's Flat Dumplings out of the freezer. Let it thaw at room temperature for 5 minutes. Separate out half of the box and put one half in a freezer bag and back in the freezer. The half you have left, break apart into bitty pieces, adding them directly to the soup as you go. Cook (still on HIGH) for at least 30 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
