2 lb ground beef1 small head of cabbage - coarsley chopped1 onion largely chopped6 slices bacon1 lg can crushed tomatoeskielbasa (optional)Black pepperSalt (optional)
Brown ground beef and onion until no pink shows. Coarsley chop cabbage and add to beef onion mixture. Add crushed tomatoes and water and stir. Let cook 10 minutes. Cut 6 slices of bacon and layer on top. Cover and simmer until cabbage is soft.
