one can of drained and rinsed pinto or navy beansdo not skip the step of rinsing off the beans.2 teaspoons of vanilla1 teaspoon of spice such as cinnamon or cardamon( I like cardamon)1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons of peanut butter1/4 (scant) cup of maple syrup or honey, or agave syrup1 teaspoon baking powder4 tablespoons of chocolate chips
blend beans up in food processor, then add the peanut butter, vanilla, and honey. Sprinkle in the spices and baking powder and mix thoroughly. roll into balls and press some chocolate chips into each cookie on top.
cook at 350 degrees for ten to 14 minutes. They will not brown up or become crispy.
Serving Size: I think each batch makes 12 cookies or so, depending on size.
