Gluten Free Oatmeal 4 C or 500 gPuffed Rice 4 C or approximately 300 gRaisins 1/2 C or 50 gDried Cranberries 1/2 C or 50 gDried Blueberry or Goji Berry 1/4 C or 25 gDried Figs 3/8 C or 50 gCane Sugar 1/2 C or 100 g (if you can find Palm Sugar use that!)Honey - Chestnut flavored 1 CSunflower Oil (or Cocunut Oil) 3/4 CPine Nuts 1/4 C or 50 g Sunflower Seeds 1 3/4 C or 150 g1 Tsp Coarse Sea Salt1 Tbsp Ground Cinnamon1 Tsp Ground Turmeric2 Tsp Ground Nutmeg3 TBSP Water
1: Preheat oven to 250 F or 121 C
2: Place water in saucepan and heat the cane or palm sugar over medium heat until it becomes liquid, add the honey and oil.
3: While the sugar is liquifying, you can add all dry ingredients together in a large mixing bowl. Leave a "well" or indentation in the center of the bowl for your liquid.
4: Add the heated sugar/honey mixture to the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
5: Spread out on cookie sheets or a flat baking surface and place inside oven; bake for 45 minutes, then use a large spatula to turn and mix, without breaking up any large clusters, and bake for another 20 minutes.
Serving Size: 50 grams or 1/4 cup packed - Recipe Makes Approximately 28 Servings
