Blackened wild pacific cod

Ingredients
3 large wild pacific cod fillets1 tsp paprika1 tsp garlic powder1 tsp dried oregano1 tsp onion powder1 tsp cumin1 tsp basil½ tsp salt1/2 tsp black pepper½ tsp brown sugar1/8 tsp cayenne pepper (half that if preferred)2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
Directions
mix all spices together and then coat fillets
heat oil in skillet and cook fillets about 5-6 minutes per side


Serving Size: Makes about 5 (3 oz) servings if using large fillets
