Sweet & Sour Beef & Cabbage

1 lb pasture raised ground beef2 cups choped raw onion1 cup choped bell pepper3/4 tsp sea salt3 cloves minced garlic1/2 tsp black pepper1 medium head cabbage1/4 cup apple cider1/4 cup brown sugar15 oz organic tomato sauce
Brown beef with onion, pepper & garlic in large sauce pan with lid.
Chop cabbage into bite-size pieces & add to beef mixture in pan.
Mix tomato sauce, salt, pepper, vinegar & brown sugar in bowl & add to pan.
Cover pan.
Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally until cabbage is cooked to your preference.
(My family likes cabbage cooked down until it is soft.)
