LC Chicken Vindaloo

Ingredients
6 chicken breasts1/2 onion, cut in wedges2 Tablespoons fresh minced ginger3 Tablespoons garlic wine vinegar3 cloves garlic1 Tablespoon cumin2 teaspoons curry powder1 teaspoon turmeric1 teaspoon dry mustard1/2 teaspoon cinnamon1/4 teaspoon cloves1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper1/4 teaspoon salt1 cup tomato sauce3 Tablespoons lime juice
Directions
Blend all dry spices together in a small bowl. Place chicken and onion wedges into crockpot. Sprinkle with seasonings. Add vinegar, lime juice and tomato sauce. Cook on low for 6 hours. The sauce can be thickened with xanthan gum if desired.
