8 ounces linguine3 medium tomatoes, chopped6 green onions, sliced1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese1/4 cup minced fresh basil or 4 teaspoons dried basil2 garlic cloves, minced1 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon pepper3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
2. Meanwhile, combine the tomatoes, onions, Parmesan cheese, basil, garlic, salt, and pepper in a large serving bowl. Drain pasta and toss with butter. Add to tomato mixture; toss to coat.

Tabbykat: I made this last night... it was superb! It's was only me and hubby last night so I halfed the recipe. Didn't have fresh basil but had basil paste and oh em gee... Complimented WELL with our chicken/veggie kabobs. Hubby took it to lunch and all the guys wanted the recipe. LOVED IT!! - 7/29/11
