Braised rhubarb with oranges and walnuts

Ingredients
5 cups rhubarb, 1/2" slices (1 pound)31/2 Tbs sugar (I used coconut palm sugar)2 Tbs orange juice2 mandarin oranges, sectioned and cut in half (or 1 regular orange)1/4 cup chopped walnuts1 tsp grated orange peel
Directions
Cook rhubarb with 1 Tbs water in a large skillet over low heat, until tender, 5 to 8 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients. Serve warm or chilled.
