Crispy Oatmeal Coconut Cookies

1 cup golden crisco1 cup packed brown sugar1 cup granulated sugar2 large eggs2 tsp vanilla1/2 tsp salt1 tsp baking soda2 cups flour2 cups oats (quick or regular)2 cups rice krispies cereal
Pre heat oven to 350 degrees and spray cookie sheets with pam.
Cream sugars with crisco until really fluffy. Add eggs and mix well,. vanilla, salt and baking soda and incorporate. Add flour, oats and rice krispies. Mix just to incorporate well.
Using small size scoop (or spoon) place onto greased cookie sheets. Flatten slightly with palm of your hand. (or fork dipped in flour if that works better for you). Bake at 350 degrees for about 8 to 10 minutes. Edges should be golden brown. Let cool on pans for 3 to 5 minutes to set, then remove to cooling racks.
