1/2 tsp. salt, divided1/4 tsp. black pepper6 ea. 4 oz. beef tenderloin steaks1 tsp. Light Margarine1/2 c. green onion, finely chopped1/3 c. water2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce1-1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice1-1/2 Tbsp. wine (any kind)
Sprinkle 1/4 tsp. salt and the black pepper over the steaks. Add steaks to a large skillet over medium heat, and cook 5 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked to your preference. Remove from pan, cover and keep warm.
Melt margarine in pan over medium heat. Add green onion and cook 2-3 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally. Add water and remaining ingredients. Reduce heat and simmer 1 minute. Stir in the remaining 1/4 tsp. salt. Spoon sauce over steaks and serve.
Makes 6 servings of 1 steak and 1-1/2 Tbsp. sauce.
This goes really well with roasted red potatoes and a veggie on the side!
