It was very good fairly quick soup. I used chicken base instead of vegetable broth and it worked out fine. - 7/30/11

This is fantastic. I didn't have BBQ seasoning so I used Essence. I used more than a pinch of cayenne since I like it spicy. Instead of removing half at the end, I just ran the stick blender through. For anyone anal about measuring, I used 1lb 10.5 ounces of potatoes and it was great! Thanks! - 8/14/11

This is a great winter soup, especially if you have frozen leeks on hand. - 4/15/11

I tried this but will use only 2 cloves of garlic next time. Lovely soup recipe! - 9/9/09
