Pasta with Sausage and Peppers

Ingredients
2 serving Fit & Active Fresh Sweet Italian Turkey Sausage (serving = 1 link) 8 oz Pasta, whole wheat elbows 2 large (2-1/4 per lb, approx 3- Sweet peppers (bell) 2 tsp Aldi Minced Garlic (by MSTONYA610) 1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions, raw 2 can Tomatoes, red, ripe, canned, whole, no salt added 2 1tsp Olive Oil 1 Tbsp Tomato Paste 2 tsp Granulated Sugar 2 tsp Basil 1 tsp Oregano, ground
Directions
Boil water and cook pasta according to package directions. Slice sausage, peppers and onions. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook sausage until browned. Add olive oil, peppers, onions and garlic and cook until vegetables begin to soften. Add tomato paste and allow to cook for 2-3 minutes. Add crushed tomatoes, sugar, basil and oregano, bring to a boil, reduce heat and allow to simmer for 10 minutes.
