Mo's carmelized onions

Ingredients
2 cup Red Onion Raw (1/4 cup, 40g or 1.4oz) 1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Directions
Peel and slice onions. Place oil in large pot with lid. Put onions on top. Turn flame to extra-low. Add 1/4 tsp salt. Cover and let sit and heat up slowly. For at least 20 minutes, stirring every five minutes or so. Cook down until moisture has been released and onions are sweet. Continue cooking until desired sweetness is reached.
